Kathmandu. Ravi Lamichhane has taken the certificate of Nepali citizenship again.

Deepak Bohora, a central member of the National Independent Party, informed us that his Nepali citizenship has been reinstated.

He renounced his American citizenship and got Nepali citizenship again after submitting to the ‘Nissa’ district administration office in Kathmandu.

On Friday, the Supreme Court dismissed Lamichhane’s position as an MP. Chief District Officer Ghanshyam Upadhyay informed that the process of regaining his citizenship has been completed in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and based on the documents submitted by Lamichhane.

Even at the time of acquiring American citizenship, a writ was filed in the Supreme Court saying that he came back to Nepal without renouncing his Nepalese citizenship and continued to work according to his old citizenship.
